The arts have never come naturally for me. It takes a continuous effort to remain present, to constantly search for perspectives that have depth and meaning, and to tell a story that resonates as both poweful and peaceful, technical and beautiful.

Engineer Turned Photographer
My father was a photographer in the military as I was growing up. As a youth, I had zero interest in understanding the technical aspects of photography, However, I did learn composition and framing from him. As I grew into an adult and began to travel and explore the world, I vowed to one day pick up a "real" camera and in 2019, I finally did. I love that photography is so ubiquitous in our everyday lives where everyone snaps photos non-stop using their phones, as do I. However, in doing this work, I have come to love and appreciate the care, the attention to detail, and the intentionality that comes with practicing photography using a professional camera. I do this because I love it and I hope you will appreciate the time and patience that photography requires and, of course, the beauty of the finished products.
